Lately I’ve Been Loving…

  1. Finding and rescuing Pyrex from thrift stores.

  2. Hearing Mike say he can’t wait to see my Pyrex treasures when I get home from work. Um yeah, Mike pretty much = FUCKING AWESOME.
  3. Drinking wine and taking drunken photographs of my new Pyrex!
  4. Beef Stroganoff. I remember liking it as a kid but we have both fallen in love with this recipe.
  5. Milk. Why on earth had I not seen that movie until now? It was incredible. It totally made me cry. Which is something, now that I’m not crying like everyday.
  6. We’ve started planning our wedding! It’s going to be a small family wedding at Mike’s cabin in the mountains in July. At first I was a little overwhelmed but now I’m getting really excited!
  7. Riesling. Seriously, what’s not to love?
  8. New pajamas. I bought the softest, most awesome pair of pj pants at Target for $4 dollars. HELLO LOVE!
  9. My niece’s curly hair. I love that kid. When she saw my new pajama pants she started poking at them with her little two year old fingers and squealing, “WHO GAVE YOU THESE PJ PANTS?! WHO GAVE YOU THESE PJ PANTS?!”
  10. Mike protecting me from this random creepy old sex offender dude at a friend’s house this weekend who kept looking at me like a fat kid looks at a sandwich. After the creep left we discovered nobody actually knew who he was. WTF?!
  11. C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint because it is the bomb.

    Pyrex rules! I have the colored bowl set- I see it all the time at vintage stores and its like $50! I got mine from my grandma. Milk was awesome and so is Reisling. Have you seen Bottle Shock? Very good movie too…

    Is it Pyrex or Corningware? Is there a difference? I love cooking with my Corningware.

    Rieslings are delicious, but they give me wicked hangovers with all the sugar that’s in them.

    I recently bought a skirt, a cardigan and a tank from Target for a total of $30.

    And what’s not to love about curly hair? :)

    Beef stroganoff and riesling…mmmmm. Wedding, happy and congrats!! Your neice sounds adorable, as always, and sweet men protecting you from creepy old guys is always appreciated. (Not that you couldn’t protect yourself, but your mad ninja skilz are put to better use elsewhere.)

    Yay for getting excited about wedding planning! I was so overwhelmed and nervous about making everyone happy. I wish I could go back two years and tell my engaged self to chill out! I’m glad you are having fun with it!!

    Dude, I heart Riesling. At our grocery store they sell single-serving bottles of the stuff, which I drink straight from the bottle. CLASSY.

    Congrats on the engagement. “MILK” was indeed a fabulous movie. Try adding a half cup of good red wine to that Beef stroganoff recipe.

    I love the idea of a Pyrex rescue. A website with all the Pyrex that’s available, and people would have to be screened before they could adopt it…What? Is that strange?

    Also? Love pajama pants. But oddly, not pajama tops. I tend to wear cute pajama pants with a random tshirt or sweatshirt.
