I’ve actually got a mission story about such a thing. This one Elder had the flu and right in the middle of our district meeting prayer he shouts “Flu bug, disperse” and then fell down to the floor, rolling. He wasn’t joking around, either. The other five of us all turned to each other and had a WTF moment. Of course, it was a “What the fetch?” moment because we were on missions. The best part of it: he was my companion. I could write a novel about all the funny shit I witnessed back then.
Sizzle, Why is it that smoke detectors do that every-three-minutes-beep shit when you’re too sick to climb a ladder?
The Grunt, I got the flu bug from my little niece. Don’t think I’ll be eating Cafe Rio anytime soon…
lostinutah, Was unable to keep any fluids “in” between 4AM and 10AM. Which especially sucked because I sorta had an off night and took a sleeping pill at 1AM. Still unable to sleep but at least I’m able to drink fluids. I’m going to give oyster crackers a go…

I’m ready for this cold/flu season to be over. It has not been a fun one in our household either.
