In observance of the Sabbath Day I just downloaded Depeche Mode’s “Blasphemous Rumours” for my religious Sisters’ new ringtone.
Also, while talking to my Sister it took every ounce of self control not to bust out laughing… she was screaming at her ten month old baby to stop “munching the carpet.”
Another fun way to make your cult prone relations squirm (worked for me): My daddies heinous cow of a girlfriend likes to place knick knacks all over the piano top actually making it difficult to use. This particular month she had chosen dreadful little ceramic bears. A whole colony of them! So one evening I placed them all in very suggestive poses and went to bed. I awoke to furious howling and my father laughing as HC (heinous cow)ranted on endlessly about how I was going to hell and that she was taking a picture to bring to the preacher to show how evil his children were. Quite entertaining. Daddy still loves me.
